OUR STORY
Why Pacific Rim?
The name Pacific Rim isn't a marketing concept. It's where our story began.
In 2012, Pacific Rim co-founders Jeff Davis and Charles House met in Hong Kong. In an interesting twist, the two were practically neighbors by global standards — Jeff from Oklahoma and Charles from Texas — yet it took separate business missions halfway around the world to bring them together. They arrived in Hong Kong for different reasons, but quickly discovered they were traveling remarkably similar paths: building relationships, pursuing international opportunities, and looking for ways to create business that could have a meaningful impact beyond the transaction itself.
That meeting began a business relationship and friendship that would eventually come full circle with Pacific Rim Petroleum Company.
THE BEGINNING
Charles came to the relationship with decades of experience in business development, real estate, infrastructure, and international investment. But home was — and still is — Texas, where life includes land, cattle, and the practical perspective that comes from running a small ranch.
Jeff's roots are in Oklahoma, with family connections to the Cherokee Nation and a professional history that began in oil and gas before expanding into manufacturing, consulting, international trade, and business development.
Different backgrounds, certainly. But they quickly found plenty of common ground: an entrepreneurial streak, a love of the outdoors and bass fishing, a shared faith, and a deeply held belief that their word is their bond. Both came from a grounded country way of life shaped by family, hard work, personal responsibility, and the idea that a handshake and a commitment should still mean something. Those shared values have shaped not only their friendship, but also how they approach relationships, business, service, stewardship, and giving back.
More importantly, both believed that Good Business Should Create Something Lasting.

PACIFIC RIM DEVELOPMENT
Not long after meeting, Jeff and Charles established Pacific Rim Development, working across relationships and opportunities connected to Pacific Island nations and the broader Pacific Rim.
Their work touched agriculture and agricultural trade, real estate and development, and the alignment of international business opportunities. Over time, those efforts created something even more valuable than any individual project: a network of relationships with people, businesses, communities, and partners across the region.
Many of those relationships would remain with them for years. Those connections did not end with Pacific Rim Development. Jeff and Charles have continued to maintain business interests and enterprises across the Pacific region, including in the Philippines, keeping them personally and commercially connected to the communities and markets that helped shape their original partnership.
Over a Decade Later
Over the years, an increasing number of the relationships surrounding Jeff and Charles intersected with energy, petroleum, infrastructure, and international trade. Eventually, the question became difficult to ignore:
Why aren't we doing this together?
For Jeff, it represented a return to an industry where his professional career had begun. For Charles, it was a natural extension of decades spent developing businesses, relationships, and international opportunities.
Over a decade after meeting in Hong Kong they rejoined together and established Pacific Rim Petroleum Company.
The name wasn't something they had to invent. Pacific Rim was already part of their story.

OUR PURPOSE
Today, Pacific Rim Petroleum participates in global petroleum markets, but the communities and relationships that helped shape the Company's history remain part of its long-term purpose.
Through their longstanding relationships and business interests across the Pacific region, including in the Philippines, Jeff and Charles have seen firsthand how difficult and expensive reliable fuel access can be in island and remote markets. Geography, logistics, infrastructure, scale, and the complexity of moving physical product can create significant challenges for businesses and communities that depend on dependable energy supply. One of Pacific Rim Petroleum's long-term objectives is to use its growing energy relationships, experience, and commercial capabilities to help narrow that gap where practical and responsible opportunities exist.
The vision extends beyond petroleum transactions. As the Company grows, Jeff and Charles intend for Pacific Rim to continue investing time, relationships, resources, and support into the communities and relationships that have been part of their journey throughout the region — including development opportunities and charitable and ministry causes aligned with the values that have guided them personally and professionally.
It is not separate from the business story. It is part of why they wanted to build the business in the first place.
WHAT PACIFIC RIM MEANS TO US
Global Energy reflects the international markets, relationships, and energy trade in which Pacific Rim operates.
Local Roots reflects where we come from — Texas, Oklahoma, our families, our communities, and the values that keep us grounded no matter where business takes us.
New Horizons reflects where we're going — building new relationships, developing new opportunities, and finding ways for commercial success to create value beyond a single transaction.
So when we say Pacific Rim, we're not simply describing a geography.
We're remembering where a partnership started, recognizing the relationships that helped build it, and keeping sight of the communities we hope to serve as we move forward.
